CHESHIRE COUNTY DEMOCRATS ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER

Cheshire County Democrats Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held this year on Saturday, October 4th at Keene State College.

The program will include presentation of the annual Russell Award.

The guest speaker will be announced after the National Democratic Convention next week.

$25 for the dinner (6:30 - 9:00pm in The Mabel Brown Room)
$100 for the reception in the Mountainview Room (5:30-6:25 pm) this price includes dinner.
Ticket sales will start soon.

DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

WATCH IT LIVE AT THE CCD OFFICE!

Come by the Cheshire County Democratic office at 2 Eagle Ct. behind Bagel Works next week during the convention!
MONDAY night: Michelle Obama headlines, other speakers, tribute to Ted Kennedy
TUESDAY night: Sen. Hillary Clinton speaks on the 88th Anniversary of women's right to vote.
WEDNESDAY night: New Hampshire's own Gov. Jeanne Shaheen will be addressing the convention (there will be refreshments 6pm)
THURSDAY night: Sen. Barack Obama speaks on the 45 Anniversary of M.L. Kings "I have a dream" speech. (We may have a get together that night at CCD stay tuned)
We will have a HDTV playing the convention the whole week!

Gilsum Democrats are reviving their annual potluck bar-b-que at the home of Barbara Bryce and Tom Julius!
Jay Phinizey and Stu West will be there, as well as representatives from various campaigns.

KEENE CITY DEMOCRATS POTLUCK
NEW
The Keene City Democrats are celebrating Labor Day in Cheshire County and
we are planning to have lots of fun with fellow Democrats. Please join us!

WHEN: Monday, September 1, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Otterbrook Dam off of Route 9.

Suggested donation $5. (The event costs the Keene City Democrats at least
$65 plus $1 per person so any donation is appreciated to keep our treasury
solvent) Children are free.

Bring your lawn chairs and frisbees, wiffle balls, badminton, horseshoes, swimsuits,
bocce, whatever.

Please also bring a potluck dish with you to share with all.
If your last name begins with A-F please bring a salad;
if your name begins with G-O, please bring a dessert; and
if your name begins with P-Z, please bring a casserole.

We encourage you to bring your own plates, eating utensils, and napkins though we will have some back up supplies. We will supply drinks.
