CHESHIRE COUNTY FAIR:
Each year the Cheshire County Democrats have a booth at the Cheshire County Fair to provide information about our candidates.
The Fair runs from Wednesday the 30th of July through Sunday August 3rd. Assistance manning the Cheshire County Democrats booth would be greatly appreciated.
Peter Hocking is good enough to open the booth each morning and close the booth on Sunday. Peter usually stays until around mid day and breaks for lunch. The fair has lots of good treats, but can get a little pricey eating there each day. As we don't have lights we usually close the booth around sunset, between 7 and 8 p.m. We will have campaign personnel for some of the time particularly on the weekend.

To kick-off this campaign season we are hosting a coordinated canvass to inform voters of our democratic candidates from our national, state and local campaigns (don''t know what canvassing is? click on the word and you will be taken to our political glossary!) .
The event is this Saturday, August 2nd and we are meeting at our Cheshire Democrats Headquarters (behind Bagel Works in Keene) at 10am. We will have refreshments, go through a small training and answer any questions you may have. We hope to see you there!

Canvasses: Joint canvass Saturday, August 2, 10am and 2pm, with the coordinated campaign.
Canvass Sunday, August 3, 12pm and 4pm.
Both canvasses meet at 2 Eagle Court.
Obama's Campaign for Change Office Open House / Barack Birthday Celebration, Monday, August 4, 6pm. Location 305 Park Avenue, Keene. Feel free to bring food (birthday cupcakes welcome).
Phone banking every weekday - morning phone banks between 10am and 5pm, and evening phone banks from 5pm to 830pm.

Cheshire County Spaghetti Dinner Committee needs your input!
We will have a meeting of the Spaghetti Dinner Committee on Monday August 4th at 7:00 P.M. in order to plan our upcoming dinner. This is the most important fund raising event that the Cheshire County Democrats host each year. With this being an election year we really need your ideas, input and help to make this a memorable event. Please join us at the CCD headquarters located at 2 Eagle Court in Keene.
